Kaltura supports closed captioning and transcripts for many different languages, but will auto-caption everything in English by default first. At present, your videos can be captioned in Arabic, French, German, Italian, Russian, Hebrew, Japanese, Portuguese, and Spanish in addition to English.
If you choose to keep the English captions in your video, when your students watch your video they will need to manually change the the language to get to the correct captions. While viewing the video, they will need to click on the Closed Captions icon at the bottom of the video player.

Note: Changing this will automatically change the transcript that displays below the video to the language you select.
The automatic English captions for your video are likely a string of nonsensical English words. If you do not intend for your students to use English captions at all when viewing your video, then removing them will make it easier for your students to get the correct captions when they watch your video.
If you wish to further edit your video, view our How to edit videos in Kaltura article, which details Kaltura's editing capabilities.
