During this time, the platform will be unavailable.
11/19/2024: Some Canvas Users Experiencing a 500 Error [RESOLVED] Resolved [Posted 11/18/2024 at 9:55 pm ET] At 9:55 pm on 11/18/2024 Canvas reported the situation has been fully resolved. Monitoring [Posted 11/18/2024 at 9:36 pm ET] At 9:36 pm on 11/18/2024 Canvas implemented a fix to the 500 error some United States users were experiencing in Canvas. Downloading Kaltura Media Items You Already Own

It is now possible for instructors to download their own Kaltura videos and audio recordings! Follow the instructions below to learn how:

Note: FSU recommends using Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox to download your Kaltura media.

Under My Media, select Edit for the video or audio recording you want to download.
In the Downloads tab, check the boxes next to the formats you wish to have available for download (depending on the original file's format, not all will be available). Select Save, then select Go To Media.
You will now see a Download option appear next to Details on the media item main page. Select Download.
You will be presented with link(s) to download any of the available versions you checked earlier. Select the Download link next to the desired version.
