Canvas's default setting is to automatically allow your students to have access to ALL the items that you put into your Course Files. Our FSU course shell templates automatically hide the Course Files link on the course navigation menu from your students as we do not recommend allowing students access to the Course Files area. However, if you find that the Course Files area is available to students and you need to prevent students from accessing all of these files, simply hide the "Files" Course Navigation link in your course.
