08/26/2020: Kaltura Service Disruption [RESOLVED]

In spite of the all-clear message that Kaltura posted yesterday, there were still some issues that persisted overnight and into the morning of August 27, 2020. Some users continued to experience errors when trying to access their My Media page, embed Kaltura videos in Canvas pages to share with others, and watch Kaltura videos. Kaltura announced at 10:40am August 27, 2020, that normal system functioning had been restored. Kaltura engineers are continuing to closely monitor Kaltura's systems to ensure system stability at this time. Thank you for your patience while Kaltura engineers worked towards total resolution of these issues. Beginning at approximately 10:32 ET this morning, Kaltura experienced a service disruption. Users are currently unable to access their Kaltura accounts within Canvas, embed Kaltura videos in Canvas pages/discussions/assignments, and users may be unable to view Kaltura videos that were embedded in Canvas pages prior to this service disruption occurring (meaning that videos embedded in Canvas courses over the last few days may also be impacted by this issue). Kaltura engineers are aware of the problem and actively working on a solution. We apologize for the inconvenience that this issue is causing.
