This issue has been resolved. We apologize for this major inconvenience and thank you for your patience while ITS worked to fully resolve this issue.
We have determined the source of the problem: ITS's enrollment data was deleted, which resulted in the automated Canvas enrollment scripts removing all Engineering students from their classes in Canvas. Our Canvas Data Team has restored all Engineering course enrollments in Canvas and ITS is working to resolve their datacaching issue. Students should now have access to their courses again. We apologize for this major inconvenience and thank you for your patience while we work with ITS to resolve this issue.
Beginning at approximately 11:30am ET, FSU's College of Engineering Canvas courses became inaccessible to students. We have been able to confirm reports from students that their courses are no longer visible on their Canvas Dashboard, and that the courses display as "unpublished" on their All Courses page. We are currently investigating this issue and working with both ITS and the College of Engineering to determine what has caused this to happen and to resolve this issue. We apologize for this inconvenience and thank you for your patience while we work to restore normal course access as soon as possible.
