Note: There are two ways to review a pending curricular request. This article covers the Formal Review Request sent to you by the Curriculum Request Administrator. Please See Reviewing a Curriculum Request to view information on using the Search Method to review other pending requests in the Curriculum Request portal.
Formal Review (when you have received email notification)
Click the link from a formal review request email (see below for email example).
Log in to view the Curricular Request Review page for that request.
- Select the links to the course information form and the delivery method form.
- Select the Syllabus link to open the syllabus (PDF) and print for review.
- Use the Print Friendly link at the top right to print the forms if desired.
Once this has been completed, you can perform the following actions you can take with a formal review:
- You may choose to use the email link next to 'Requester' to send the requester an email with questions or comments.
- You may send notification of your approval to the UCC Administrator (this does not go directly to the requester).
- You may send a request for revision to the UCC Administrator (this does not go directly to the requester). If you choose this option, you must provide comments before submitting feedback.
Reviewing the UCC Meeting List
At some point before a formal UCC meeting, the UCC Administrator will move ready “Pending Approval” requests forward in the process. The request will now have the status of 'Pending Final UCC Review.'
You may access a list of requests awaiting final UCC Review:
- Select Admin in the header under your name.
- Select Pending Final UCC Review.
Select Reviewers if you would like to see if any reviewers commented on the request.
Select on the link under course to view and/or print the request information.
